I live in southeastern Oklahoma in a rural area with my husband and one dog. I have no friends, no other family, and no one to talk to other than my husband. We live a very secluded and simple life and don’t even have a cellphone. I would like to “meet” people on here who are genuine and honest. I enjoy communicating per e-mail and look forward to hearing from people around the world.
I am over 60 years old and not working at the moment. I had been working as a medical transcriptionist for over 10 years but quit my last job earlier this year for various reasons. I am very good at transcription and proofreading and enjoy that line of work. I am interested in learning how to write articles and blog posts. I would like to find an apprenticeship in web design, social media marketing, SEO, etc. A true apprenticeship starts at zero and teaches/trains you until you know the ins and outs.
My goal is to make a difference somehow. Once I acquire above-mentioned skills, I would like to devote my time to helping others any way I can.
